It is a program that helps you recover data from your iTunes backup file. It has a nice design and is generally easy to use. The home page displays the current iTunes backup file (and also tells you that if you don’t see any file, it’s probably because you haven’t synchronized your device with iTunes). Once you scan the backup file, you can see all the files that it contains. The program gives you some details about the backup file’s name and date, the iOS version, the device type, and the iTunes version.
The files are organized into categories. You can either select all of them at once, or you can check specific files for recovery. However, there's a major problem that I discovered while I was testing the program: when I tried to import an encrypted backup file, the application warned me that the current version doesn’t support that kind of file. I consider this a big disadvantage, because I usually set a password for my backups. Also, the search function seemed too complicated to me: instead of showing the files that I searched for, the tool displayed the categories containing those files.
To sum up, I think this is an important tool for users of iPhones, iPads, or iPods. You never know when your device crashes and you lose all your data. Despite the two drawbacks that I have mentioned, I think it is worth to try.
